Dr. Basit Ali, currently serving as an associate professor of mathematics in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Management and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan. He received his MS and Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics from LUMS Lahore and additionally holds a Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Furthermore, he gained valuable experience as a post-doctorate fellow at the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at the University of Pretoria. Dr. Basit had the opportunity to enhance his mathematical expertise through his attendance at ICTP, Italy, where he participated in the diploma program in Mathematics as a student. He also fulfilled the role of a visiting research supervisor at AIMS Ghana. Dr. Basit has devoted more than 15 years to academia.
