Department of Life Sciences organized an Awareness Walk on June 13, 2025, to highlight the importance of voluntary blood donation in saving lives.

An awareness walk was organized on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 3:15 PM, starting from the Main Building of UMT’s School of Science. The event aimed to promote the importance of voluntary blood donation and to recognize the contribution of regular blood donors in saving lives. Aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 03 – Good Health and Well-being, the walk served as a platform to raise awareness about the need for safe blood and blood products for transfusion. The activity was organized by Ghadir Ali, Muhammad Khurram, and Aquib Nazar from the Department of Life Sciences.
