Industrial visit tour to Atlas Power Plant - 9th November 2023
The Department of Physics carried out a successful industrial visit to Atlas Power Plant on 9th November 2023. Faculty and 5th, and 7th semester BS Physics students visited the power plant and proactively interacted with the representatives to learn and understand the process of electric energy generation and the workings of the engines in depth. The discussion also opened the channel to establish the possible linkage with the Atlas Power Plant company for any future collaborations with research projects and internship opportunities for last year's BS Physics students. At the last session, the faculty presented an award to the members of the Atlas power plant as a token of gratitude for taking out time to provide a tour and educate us about the process of power generation. We are really grateful and humbly indebted to the Atlas Power Plant team for their cooperation and support.
