Ms. Hira Yaseen Presents Research Work at Lahore College for Women University
Ms. Hira Yaseen, Lecturer, Department of Physics, University of Management and Technology (UMT), visited Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) and delivered a research talk on “Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis of Toxic and Non-Toxic Elements in Toys by Calibration-Free Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy.”
During her presentation, Ms. Hira Yaseen discussed her research on the identification and analysis of toxic and non-toxic elements present in toys using Calibration-Free Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (CF-LIBS). The talk highlighted the application of laser-based analytical techniques for elemental characterization and the assessment of potentially hazardous materials.
The research talk was attended by faculty members from the Department of Physics, including Dr. Shamsa, Dr. Saira, and Ms. Rabia Hassan, who participated in the academic discussion and knowledge exchange.
