Public Awareness Seminar on "Nuclear and Radiation Safety in Pakistan" Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA) is an independent nuclear regulatory body with the mission to protect radiation workers, the general public, and the environment from the harmful effects of radiation. One important mandate of PNRA is to inform the general public about the application of ionizing radiations in everyday life and their harmful effects on human health and the environment. PNRA, in this regard, has initiated a public awareness campaign in which it delivers lectures at different organizations and institutes with question & answer sessions to familiarize the people with the important topic.
