Bridge Program for BSc Degree Holder Students BS-Physics
Description
This program is offered, in accordance with the HEC requirement, for the students who have passed their two years bachelor degree i.e. BSc (Physics) with different combinations.
For BSc Degree holder admitted in BS Physics Program, bridging semester comprises of 15-18 credit hours of deficiency removal courses shall be offered in July-September.
A total eight weeks (1 week = 40 hours) shall be assigned to complete the deficiency removal courses/ bridging semester
Admission Eligibility Criteria:
- 14 year of formal Education for BSc (Physics) or equivalent with Physics.
- Intermediate with Minimum of 50% marks.
- 50% marks in two year BSc in physics (Annual system).
- UMT entrance test.
Degree Completion Requirement:
- BS Physics degree will be awarded on completion of 130 Credit Hours with minimum CGPA of 2.00.
Bridge courses:
On the basis of various combination of subjects in BSc, Bridging courses will be offered in three different groups in accordance with their BSc subject combinations.
Group 1
Physics with Math (A&B)
Group 2
Physics, General Math, any combination (other than math)
Group 3
Physics any combination (other than Math)
It is compulsory to have Physics as a Major in BSc Physics.
