Throughout my journey at UMT, I was awarded a 50% scholarship on merit basis upon admission Upon my graduation, I was honored to be awarded with the prestigious Patron’s Gold medal as a recognition of my academic excellence. I have been a recognizable part of the Life Sciences department in organizing and participating in various events throughout my time there. Additionally, I have been blessed that my bachelor’s thesis study of forensic serology was published in an acclaimed international scientific journal. I pursued a doctorate degree in Biochemistry, I found my way into the Crime Scene and Death Investigation Department as a Forensics Expert. Channeling my passion of being a consulting detective.

Muhammad Khurram

I have done my Bachelor in Medical Lab Technology from University of the Punjab & Master of Science in Biochemistry from UMT Lahore in 2020. I am a PhD scholar in the discipline of Biochemistry from iBBt, UVAS Lahore. I did research on "Gender wise distribution of antibiotics sensitive and resistant patterns in UTI patients of SZH Lahore" in BS. In addition, my thesis title in M.Phil was "Correlation of ECOG patterns with breast cancer grading and staging in metastatic neoplasm in Lahore". Currently, i am working as Lecturer in Department of Life Sciences, SSC, UMT Lahore since Feb 2020 to date. I have 5 years’ experience in different medical laboratories. While in last 3.5 years at UMT, I learnt a lot to enhance my capabilities. I have more than 15 National and International Publications in impact journals.

Muneeb Sohail

Coming from a humble background, I grew up in a village of Azad Kashmir where access to educational resources was limited. These difficulties have instilled in me a strong determination to succeed and a deep appreciation for the opportunities that education can provide. The foundation I received during my time at UMT Lahore has been invaluable in preparing me for my Ph.D. studies. The rigorous academic environment and the exposure to cutting-edge research at UMT provided me with a solid knowledge base and a passion for the field of Biomolecular and Health Sciences. I am immensely grateful for the unwavering moral support of my Masters’ Supervisor Dr. Muhammad Ali and the heartfelt prayers of my parents. Now, as I continue my academic journey at the University of Urbino, Carlo Bo, Italy, I aspire to make meaningful contributions to the field by conducting innovative research that addresses pressing health-related issues.

Hafiz Nouman Aziz

I, Hafiz Nouman Aziz, a Former BS biotechnology student at UMT since 2017 and now about to complete my MS from the same department. Although I started as an ordinary student, I was always blessed with an entrepreneurial mindset. Being a travel enthusiast, I was determined to provide the best travel experience to my clients. Soon I started my Umrah Business in my company and got a remarkable response by effort at international level. Quite recently I have started the study visa and Student consultancy. I am also a social activist working in corona relief services and Flood relief activities. Now I own Three companies. 1. Bin Aziz and Tourism Pvt Ltd. 2. Bin Aziz consultants 3. Bin Aziz real estate and developers. Through countless efforts, I got the membership of “The Lahore Chamber of commerce”. I got the privilege of being the youngest member of LCC which defines my hard work, passion and consistency towards my career.

Usman Ayub Awan

Usman's education journey began at The University of Haripur (UOH), where he earned his BS (Hons) in Medical Lab Technology and got a Gold Medal. Later, he continued his studies at SSC, UMT Lahore, and obtained his Master's in Biochemistry in 2020. Currently, he is doing a Ph.D. in Medical Laboratory Sciences at the UOH. Usman's professional journey began as a Supervisor in Histopathology at the renowned Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center (SKMCH&RC), Lahore. Currently, Usman is serving as a permanent Lecturer in the Department of Medical Lab Technology at UOH. Furthermore, Usman's secured a prestigious national-level research project from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), worth around 2 million rupees. He was also awarded an International Research Support Initiative Program (IRSIP). Usman says that UMT was the place where he discovered his passion for research.

Faryal Sadiq

The world calls a name “Faryal Sadiq” but only a few know that it’s a story, a story of passion, a story of a dream being watched as a biotechnology enthusiast. I passionately decided to become biotechnologist, who just not only provide services to the people in the country as well as can mark my identity in some sort of research innovation in this fast-paced world. I graduated with the degree BS Hons. Biotechnology from University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore, Pakistan. And during my whole graduation era, I find myself very fortunate for being awarded HEC Scholarships. Moreover, on scoring higher grades, in matriculation as well as in FSc examinations. I completed my MS Biotechnology from University of Management and Technology Lahore, Pakistan, and awarded with Rectors Merit Award. I am currently working as a freelancer as I believe that a person should be multitasked. At national level, I am an acCve volunteer of Sitara-o-Hilal foundation to recall the spirit to do something good for our beloved country.

Uzair Ishtiaq Saroya

At the Department of Life Sciences in Biochemistry, I Uzair Ishtiaq Saroya began my academic career as a C-student. Nevertheless, I was able to transform myself into an A student by the end of my degree thanks to the unwavering guidance and support of my dedicated teachers. I started research on the production of Pectinase Enzyme from Lemon Peels, a useful biowaste resource. I started working for my family's company, where we manufacture medical devices. I assumed the roles of Institutional Tenders Manager and R&D Manager, and I am now in charge of fostering innovation inside the business. Right now, I'm a key player in a fascinating project that aims to create cutting-edge wound dressings. In addition, I'm working on non-biodegradable biowaste-based dehydrated culture media for the cultivation of Microbes as my future project for the establishment of a Microbial Culture Bank in Pakistan. My development as a committed and enthusiastic person as a result of their mentoring.

Aqsa Qurban

I have completed my Bachelors degree from Punjab University and completed my Masters (MS) Degree from University of Management and Technology. Apart from being well educated and holding a good publication record, I was an With the affiliation of the UMT, I have 12 publications in both national and international journals. I received an offer letter in 2021 from Patrick Buerger, an assistant professor in the department of structural biology at Macquarie University in Australia, for a fully funded scholarship. I also submitted for a PhD scholarship at the Medical University of Vienna in Austria. When someone Google my name to see my paper, there will be only one representation: "University of Management and Technology".
