My name is Dr. Muhammad Sarwar Sindhu (Session 2015-2021). I am a proud member of UMT Mathematics family. I completed my doctorate in mathematics from the department in 2021. I had the honor to be mentored by the esteemed faculty of the department, especially, my supervisors Dr. Tabasam Rashid and Dr. Agha Kashif. The title of my PhD thesis is “Linear Programing Optimization Model for some Extensions of Fuzzy Sets”. I have published more than ten research publications in international high reputed journals, during my PhD. My amazing academic journey at UMT not only honed my knowledge but also formed me into the professional I am today. I was impressed by the relentless commitment to greatness displayed by both professors and other students the moment I arrived onto campus. The stay at UMT was indeed life-changing experience, full of hard intellectual challenges, groundbreaking research opportunities, and priceless mentors-hip. The university's multidisciplinary approach allowed me to explore several disciplines of study, broadening my horizons and building a comprehensive grasp of my subject topic. I am glad for the vital lessons I learned, the lifetime friendships I formed, and the personal growth I achieved while at UMT. I now stand among the illustrious alumni of this prestigious institute, with a belief and pride to make a positive effect in the country and around the world. Currently, I am serving as an Assistant Professor in Mathematics at Virtual University of Pakistan. Thanks UMT.

Linear Programing Optimization Model for some Extensions of Fuzzy Sets

My name is Abdul Basit (Session 2019-2021). I am member of UMT Mathematics family. I did my MS from the department in 2021. I had the honor to be mentored by the esteemed faculty of the department. I did my thesis with the title “Advances in transport phenomena with nanoparticles and generalized thermal process for vertical plate” under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Imran Asjad. I had made 4 publications in international high reputed journals with total impact factor 12 during my Master’s. I am happy to share that skill and knowledge developed at UMT has enabled me to secure admission in the PHD program at Lodz university of Technology in Poland under the prestigious NAWA scholarship in academic year 2022-23. Lodz University of Technology is ranked 801 in QS World University Rankings by Top Universities and has an overall score of 3.6 stars, according to student reviews on Study portals, the best place to find out how students rate their study and living experience at universities from all over the world. The life here has a different yet beautiful cultural dimension and requires a lot of hardworking and constant striving for knowledge. It always reminds me of a similar yet more beautiful time at my own UMT. I am thankful to all my mentors at UMT especially Dr. Muhammad Imran Asjad and Dr. Muhammad Bilal Riaz who believed in my abilities and equipped me with the skillset to excel in this ever competing environment.

Advances in transport phenomena with nanoparticles and generalized thermal process for vertical plate

My name is Muhammad Wasee Shahid (Session 2018-2020). I am member of UMT Mathematics family. I completed MS-Mathematics from the department in the year 2020. I had the honor to be mentored by the esteemed faculty of the department, especially, my supervision of Dr. Rubab Manzoor. The research conducted in my thesis have been published in international high reputed journals. I am pleased to share that skill and knowledge developed at UMT has driven my journey to a successful carrier as a Subject Expert at Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board, Lahore. My role as a Subject Expert Mathematics is very much demanding and requires skill set of highest aptitude. However, I am thankful to all my mentors Dr. Rubab Manzoor, Dr. Imran Asjad, Dr. Naeem Saleem, Dr. Javaid, Dr. Zohaib Zahid and Dr. Sohail Zafar at UMT who believed in my abilities and equipped me with the skillset to excel in this ever-competing environment.

My role as a Subject Expert Mathematics is very much demanding and requires skill set of highest aptitude.

My name is Dr. Muhammad Shoaib Sardar (Session 2014-2016) and I am member of UMT Mathematics family. I did my MS from the department in 2016. I had the honor to be mentored by the esteemed faculty of the department. I did my thesis under the supervision of Dr. Sohail Zafar. I have published more than 10 research articles in international high reputed journals during my MS degree.I am happy to share that skill and knowledge developed at UMT has enabled me to secure admission in the PHD program at Anhui University in China under the prestigious scholarship “Chinese Government Scholarship” in 2017. The life at Anhui University was very vibrant and demanding and had a different yet beautiful cultural dimension and requires a lot of hardworking and constant striving for knowledge. It always reminded me of a similar yet more beautiful time at my own UMT.The experience and knowledge, at UMT and Anhui University China have further lead me to successful carrier as an Assistant Professor at Minhaj University Lahore from March 2021-January 2023.In February 2023, I joined Lanzhou University in China as a postdoctoral research fellow, and currently I am working there. I am thankful to all my mentors at UMT, especially Dr. Sohail Zafar and Dr. Zohaib Zahid, who believed in my abilities and equipped me with the skillset to excel in this ever-competing environment.
