It is my pleasure to welcome to the website of the Department of Mathematics, University of Management and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan. I believe a department is known by the faculty it has. The faculty of Department of Mathematics has earned respect nationally as well as internationally for its scientific research in different are
as. It has an excellent cadre of faculty members some of whom are outstanding scientists in the world. We have faculty members who are actively working in broad range of areas in pure, applied and computational mathematics with high standards of research. The department is a vibrant place for mathematical research collaboration connected across the globe. We arrange a number of seminars, national and international conferences and workshops around the year.
Mathematics is the language of science and the key to understand the mechanics of our world. We are offering BS, MS, and PhD Programme in the department. The students of BS has the option to take minor courses from different fields like IT, AI, Management etc.
It is always extremely satisfying when our alumni return to our institution and share their invaluable experiences with the current generation of students.
