Dr. Quratulain Hanif is a genomicist and bioinformatician with a PhD in Biotechnology from the National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (NIBGE), affiliated with PIEAS, Pakistan. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses and leads research in livestock, human, and microbial genomics, with a strong focus on big data analytics and computational biology. With over a decade of experience in higher education and applied research, Dr. Hanif has held academic and research positions at prestigious institutions such as Forman Christian College University (FCCU), NIBGE, and Northwest A&F University, China. Her international collaborations span China, Australia, and global genomics consortia, contributing significantly to projects such as the 1000 Bull Genome Project.
