Dr. Muhammad Tahir completed his PhD degree from the Centre of Excellence in Solid State Physics, University of the Punjab, Lahore. His PhD research topic was “Surface Electronic and structural characterization of BiFeO3 nanoparticles based Thin Films”. Before joining UMT as Assistant Professor (Physics) in 2022, He has also served as Assistant Professor at Department of Physics, University of Education and University of The Punjab Lahore. His research interests are in the thin film growth and characterization of oxide based semiconductors and multiferroic materials. He is particularly interested in the materials that can potentially be used for Storage devices, optoelectronics, renewable energy, and spintronics applications.
