Dr. Qurat-ul-ain is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics in University of Management and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan. She obtain her Ph.D degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China in the field of Laser Wakefield acceleration. She has a strong experimental research experience in the field of high-intensity laser-plasma interactions. She also has experience in designing and installation of LWFA and radiation sources setups and in analyzing the experimental and simulation data of LAWA, positrons study, theoretical study of particle-matter interactions using Monte Carlo code Geant4 and laser-matter interactions using Particle-in-Cell code. Currently, she is also working on the materials computational codes such as Wien2K.
