Biography

Dr. Mohsin Javed is currently working as Associate Professor (Physical Chemistry) at the UMT, Lahore. He joined UMT as Assistant Professor (2017-2022) in Department of Chemistry. Before Joining UMT, he served as Lecturer (Physical Chemistry) at Department of Chemistry (2009-2010), University of Wah, Wah Cantt. Earlier in his carrier, He has served as Research Assistant (2000-2009) in I of A, Rawalpindi. He completed his Ph.D. (2017) at QAU Islamabad, focusing on the “Synthesis of Carbon based Nano-materials for Energy storage Devices”. During Ph.D, Dr. Mohsin Javed availed two Fellowships; i) TWAS-CAS Fellowship at CIAC, China (2013-2014), ii) IRSIP Fellowship at USTC, China (2012-2013). His Ph.D. research project was also funded by HEC indigenous Scholarship. He received his M. Phil. degree (2007-2009) from the QAU Islamabad, and his M.Sc. degree (2004-2006) from Hazara University, Mansehra. He co-authored more than 125 research articles.
