Dr. Toheed Akhter is a highly accomplished scholar and researcher with a joint Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from KAIST, South Korea, and Quad-i-Azam University, Pakistan. Their expertise spans polymer synthesis, MOFs, COFs, MIPs, and organic synthesis. Noteworthy accomplishments include securing a research project as Co-Principal Investigator in collaboration with King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, and serving as a visiting professor at Sejong University, South Korea. Dr. Toheed Akhter has also been awarded two prestigious postdoc fellowships in South Korea. Since joining UMT in 2017, Dr. Toheed Akhter has consistently received excellent feedback from students, surpassing 90%. He has fostered research collaborations with industry and universities, both nationally and internationally, benefiting MS and Ph.D. students. Under their guidance, three Ph.D. students have submitted their theses in June 2023, demonstrating Dr. Akhter's exceptional research supervision.
