The Department of Physics at the University of Management and Technology (UMT) organized an educational visit to Mughal Lab Diagnostics, led by Associate Professor Dr. Saira Shaheen. The visit aimed to provide BS and MS Physics students with practical exposure to the application of physics in the medical diagnostics field. The departmental delegation included Prof. Dr. Arshad Majid Mirza, Associate Professor Dr. Saira Shaheen, Mr. Syed Nasrullah Ali Qazi, Ms. Rabia Nasar, Mr. Muhammad Anas Toheed, and a group of enthusiastic BS and MS Physics students.

During the visit, Ms. Mahwaish Asif from Mughal Lab warmly welcomed the team and conducted a comprehensive tour of the facility. The students had the opportunity to observe the functioning of various diagnostic units including radiology, X-ray imaging, ultrasound, and the pathology lab. The visit offered valuable insights into how core physics principles are applied in advanced diagnostic technologies, strengthening the students' understanding of medical physics in real-world settings.

As a token of appreciation, the Department of Physics presented Ms. Mahwaish Asif with a shield in recognition of her time and hospitality. The department extends special thanks to Dr. Saira Shaheen for organizing this enriching and well-coordinated tour, which greatly contributed to bridging theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience in the field of medical diagnostics.
