Conference on Recent Trends in Chemistry (CCUMT-2019)

Poster Presentation Guidline:

1. Please note that the dimensions for Poster Presentation are width = 3 Ft(36 inches), length = 4 Ft( 48 inches).

2. Please bring your poster on first day of conference, we will facilitate you to display your poster at your allocated space and time (which will be emailed to you soon).

Paper Submission Guidline:

Selected papers will be given priority to be published in the Journal" Scientific Inquiry and Review(SIR)".

Article Review Process

The articles for SIR are selected by the Editorial Board. The submitted articles undergo a Blind Peer Review Process. Reviewers are contacted for getting their consent to review and send comments. These reviewers are selected on basis of their knowledge and experience in the subject area. The author’s identity remains hidden to the reviewer following SIRs policy for blind peer review process.

The review process can take up to 2-4 weeks. Modifications to article structure or writing style of paper suggested by the reviewer are forwarded to author for revision. The revised paper is then assessed by the Editorial Board. Final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of any submission lies with the Editorial Board of SIR. 

It is the pre-requisite of publication that the manuscript has not been published or submitted for publication partially or fully anywhere else. After submitting authors agree that the copyright of their article hereby transferred to the University of Management and Technology (UMT), if an article is accepted partially or fully for publication.

Blind Peer Review Process ensures quality of SIRs Issues and is as approved by the HEC, Higher Education Commission.

Submission Guidelines 

Scientific Inquiry and Review (SIR) accepts manuscripts in Vancouver Style Format. In text citation is given in numbers ordered from 1 to N… enclosed by parenthesis e.g. [1]. Once a source has been cited, the same number is used in all subsequent references.

Title: The title of the manuscript should be centered, short and specific. Title would be Level 1 Heading. Use Arabic numerals for heading’s numbers.

Abstract: Every manuscript would begin with an abstract that summarizes the content of the article in 150 to 250 words. The abstract would be 12 Time New Roman and italicize. Do not include references and abbreviations in abstract.

Keywords: Keywords would be in small letters, except some proper nouns. Separate each keyword with comma (,). Prefer two words or single word as key word to represent themes of your manuscript.

Levels of Headings: Use five levels of headings along with Arabic numerals and use decimal (.) for subsequent heading levels in a hierarchy. The font would be 12 Time New Roman.

Example:

Level 1: Pre-target Axon Sorting is Perturbed in the Absence of AC3 (Centered, Bold)

Level 2: Pre-target Axon Sorting is Perturbed in the Absence of AC3 (Bold, Flush Left)

Level 3: Pre-target Axon Sorting is Perturbed in the Absence of AC (Bold, Flush Left, Italic)

Level 4: Pre-target axon sorting is perturbed in the absence of ac3.  (Centered, Bold)

Level 5: Pre-target Axon Sorting is Perturbed in the Absence of AC3. (Centered, Not Bold)

Terminology, Units and Abbreviations:

  • Technical terms and abbreviations should be defined the first time they appear in the text.
  • Please always use internationally accepted signs and symbols for units, so-called SI units.
  • Numerals should follow the British/American method of decimal points to indicate decimals and commas to separate thousands.

Footnotes:

  •  Always use footnotes instead of endnotes and never use footnotes instead of a reference list.
  • Footnotes should not consist of a reference citation. Footnotes should not contain figures, tablesand/or the bibliographic details of a reference.

Equations and Program Code:

Key Style Points: Formal Style, Text formatting

  •  In Word, use the Math function of Word 2007 or 2010, MathType, or Microsoft Equation Editor with Word 2003 to create your equations, and insert the graphic into your text file as an object.

Figures and Tables:

  • All figures appearing in work must be numbered in the order that they appear in the text.
  • Each figure must have a caption fully explaining the content.
  • Figure captions are presented as a paragraph starting with the number i.e. Figure 1.
  • Figure captions appear below the figure.
  • Each figure must be fully cited if taken from another work.
  • all figures must be referred to in the body of the work.
  • Material that is tabular in nature must appear in a numbered captioned table.
  • All tables appearing in work must be numbered in the order that they appear in the text.
  • Each table must have a caption fully explaining the content with the table number i.e. Table 1.
  • Each column must have a clear and concise heading.
  • Tables are to be presented with a double horizontal line under the table caption, a single horizontal line under the column headings and double horizontal lines at the end of the table.
  • All tables must be referred to in the body of the work.
  • Each table must be fully cited if taken from another work.
