Biography

Dr. Zaheer Hussain Shah is associated with UMT since June 2007. He has completed his Ph.D. in Solid State Physics/Nanotechnology from COE in Solid State Physics, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. He has the honour of founding Chairman of the Department of Basic Sciences (Physics and Chemistry), SST, UMT from Jan 2011 to Jan 2014. He has more than Twenty years of professional and teaching experience starting since 1999 (from Physics Department, Punjab University Lahore to UMT) including Five Years (2001-2006) of teaching at an International Level in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He is involved in teaching and research at undergraduate, graduate levels and has supervised numerous final year thesis. He also received Training for teaching and research at George Mason University USA. He has published more than 20 scholarly articles in reputed international/national journals and presented research work in various international/national conferences especially at USA, South Korea and Pakistan.
