Miss Fatima Tahir, an esteemed chemist and researcher, is serving UMT since 2020 with the commitment to provide a supportive learning environment. Her commitment to excellence is reflected in the consistently positive feedback from students who credit her to provide them with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the field of chemistry. She is involved in teaching and research at graduate levels and has supervised 19 internship students and 4 BS thesis. With a focus on written and oral communication skills, Miss Fatima encourages her supervisees to articulate their ideas clearly, engage in collaborative teamwork and present their research with precision and impact. Her research interest includes metal nanoparticles loaded smart polymer microgels for environmental and catalytic applications. She has published 6 scholarly articles in reputed journals.
